Our client is a Certified Public Accountant who provides a comprehensive range of audit, accounting,
business consulting and tax planning services. Their team consists of qualified accountants and business consultants backed by experienced support staff and they are now looking to hire an Accounting Administrator/ Secretary to join their team based in Limassol.
Responsibilities:
Maintaining the accounting books & records of our group companies (2)
Dealing with all aspects of Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable
Dealing with banks & bank related issues
Preparation and execution of office payroll
Controlling & supervising the work of bookkeepers
Ensuring client & office VAT & VIES reports are submitted on time
Devising and maintaining office systems, including data management and filing;
Screening phone calls, enquiries and requests, and handling them when appropriate;
Meeting and greeting visitors at all levels of seniority;
Organising and maintaining diaries and making appointments;
Dealing with incoming email, faxes and post, often corresponding on behalf of the manager;
Carrying out background research and presenting findings;
Liaising with clients, suppliers and other staff.
Carrying out specific projects and research;
Deputising for the manager, making decisions and delegating work to others in the manager's absence;
Requirements:
Experience working with the accounting software Quickbooks will be advantageous
Be very well presented and with pleasant personality as you will be dealing directly with clients
Fluent in Greek and English
Previous experience in a similar role including bookeeping and payroll
Excellent administrative skills and experience
Excellent basic salary of between 1,300- 1,700 EUR gross based on experience and the working hours will be: 8:30 - 13:00 and 14:30 - 18:00 - Monday to Friday
