This Financial Services Company in Limassol is looking for an Accountant for their office in Limassol who will have the overall responsibility for a smooth operation of the accounting records for all the clients.
Responsibilities:
To ensure that all the accounting records (sales/ purchased invoices/vouchers etc) for the company’s clients are correctly posted on time
Ensure that the ledgers are complete and up to date
To prepare and submit electronically the relevant VAT Returns of the company’s clients
To prepare bank and creditors reconciliations on a monthly basis
Maintain in close contact with clients throughout the year to ensure continuing good relations
Preparation and review of the clients’ accounts and submission to the Director on a monthly basis
Recognizing significant problems in clients’ operations and discusses solutions with the director Contributing to technical and other discussions with clients and others
Communicating to Director opportunities to promote additional services to clients
Assisting the Director from time to time on special assignments
Requirements:
Holders of a university degree in Accounting & Finance and/or holders of LCCI Higher diploma in Accounting
Minimum of two-three years’ experience in accounting department.
Strong business communication skills
Excellent knowledge of Greek and English
Computer literate (Microsoft Word, Excel)
Knowledge of Caseware Software is a plus, but not necessary
Salary 1400-1500 gross per month + 13th salary
Working Hours: 40 hours per week (flexible)
