DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for a Marketing – Social Media & Content Specialist to join team and help grow the social media following and overall online presence. You will be a member of the Marketing Team but your role will be highly cross-functional, requiring partnership not only with fellow marketers and external content agencies but also product owners, designers, and more.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Create and maintain a monthly social media post calendar
Follow up with social post engagement metrics to optimise content
Contribute to content output, including original blog posts, ad text, case studies, guides, website pages, etc.
Align with designers on creative resources needed for social or blog posts
Be the point of contact for external content agencies, evaluate monthly pitches and proofread deliverables
Collect insights from internal stakeholders (product owners, designers, developers) to write engaging content
Always remain on the lookout for new ideas and content
REQUIREMENTS:
2+ years of experience in social media, blog and/or content management in a tech environment (previous SaaS experience is considered an advantage)
Proven ability to translate complex or technical terms into clear, concise human language
Up-to-date knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Medium trends & mechanics
Excellent writing skills in English (a native English level is considered an advantage)
A portfolio of solid past writing samples
A solid understanding of the tech landscape and language
Feel comfortable collaborating with designers, product owners and developers
An organised approach to work and a good relationship with achieving deadline
