Job Description
Our Client is a registered Cyprus Investment Firm. They are seeking to recruit an experienced Systems Administrator to join our Limassol office. The successful candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in the financial services industry.
Job Responsibilities
- Ensure proper and smooth operation of MT4/MT5 servers
- Setup and configure plugins on MT4/MT5 servers
- Monitor performance and availability of trading platforms, systems & software
- Setup, administer and troubleshoot 3rd party system such as telephony system, antivirus, CRM, ticketing, wiki, etc
- Install, replace and configure computer hardware, operating systems, and applications
- Administer Active Directory, set up policies and permissions
- Perform routine system updates, audits, and resolve any identified problems
- Administer the company’s ticketing system and respond to staff requests in a timely manner
- Provide guidance, support, and training to staff on IT related issues
Requirements
- Degree in IT or any other relevant field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in the financial services industry
- Practical knowledge of MT4/MT5 administration
- Experience with management of Windows OS and Active Directory
- Knowledge and experience in Networking (LAN/WAN, Routers, Switches, Firewalls, Wi-Fi)
- Experience with corporate IT security, compliance with GDRP and similar practices
- Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Proactive and efficient with strong organisational skills
- Able to multitask, prioritise tasks and work independently
- Fluent in English
