Job Detail
Our client, a Regulated Forex Company with a comfortable office in the city center in Limassol, is looking to hire a Financial Controller.
Responsibilities:
Guides financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures
Provides status of financial condition by collecting, interpreting, and reporting financial data
Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
Support month-end and year-end close process
Publish complete and timely financial statements to company executives, shareholders, and the board
Oversee all company accounts and investments
Collaborate with auditing services to ensure proper compliance with all regulations
Coordinate with colleagues to prepare the company’s annual report
Improving efficiencies and reducing costs across the business
Supervise transaction-processing operations
Liaise with Accountants in other Group offices overseas
Report to Company’s VP Finance
Requirements
Educated to degree level in Accounting/Finance or related field
Member of a professional accounting body (ACCA/ACA/CPA)
At least 2+ years of relevant experience in a similar role is a must
Excellent communication skills in English are essential (written/spoken)
Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
Previous and demonstrable Managerial experience is a must
Willingness to travel abroad as and when required on work assignments.
The working hours are 09:00 -18:00 (flexible)
