Our client, an international IT Company in Nicosia (outskirts) with a professional, dynamic, fun, challenging and creative environment, is looking for a Domain Strategist for their SEO/SEM department to manage the company's domain names portfolios, business segments and all supporting work pertaining to domains.
Responsibilities:
Manage the acquisition and/or transfer of domains of all tlds/gtlds/cctlds with all types globally
Working with auctions to acquire domains
Work hand in hand with legal on trademark domains
Working with domain registrars/registries globally
Evaluating domains if they need to be set to expire or keep
Provide insight on current domains and domains that should be acquired
Monitor and provide insight on the business of domains (trademark infringements, new gtlds, monetization etc.)
Requirements:
Highly organized, detail oriented & multi-tasking
Adaptable in fast-past, priority changing environment
Self-sufficient and comfortable with working in a team
Interpersonal, analytical, problem solving, and negotiating skills
Understanding/Experience with the domain name business, including registrars, registries, gTLDs (new and old), and ccTLDs
Experience with transferring domains gtlds & cctlds
Understanding of the WHOIS protocol, and using it to gather domain name registration data
Understanding of how DNS is used and setup
Experience with intellectual property concepts (trademarks & copyrights), and how they relate to domain names
Familiarity with Confluence, Jira Atlassian, Microsoft office
Successful history of client contact, including experience in setting and managing client expectations
Experience working with legal teams (plus)
Experience with Domain Tools & Iris Platform desirable
Experience with Google Analytics, SEMrush, Similarweb desirable
