2X, a global leader in virtual desktop and part of a global software group including 3CX and Acunetix, with tens of thousands of customers worldwide, and clients such as Vodafone, Harvard University, IBM, HSBC and many more, is recruiting.
Due to continued growth, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced General Manager to join our team in Malta.
Requirements:
- A degree in Business, Management or Strategic Management
- 5-10 years experience in a senior management position in a B2B environment
- Significant experience in the international technology sector
- Experience with channel sales
- Good understanding of finance and accounting
- Excellent command of the English language, both verbal and written
- Ability to multi-task
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Excellent people management skills
- Ability to lead and work as part of an international team
What the role entails:
- Leading the 2X team towards the execution of the 2X strategy
- Supporting, guiding and directing the management team towards achieving their objectives
- Identifying new markets and business opportunities, establishing entry strategies and developing action plans
- Creating business plans
- Generating synergies among the different offices
- Preparing quarterly objectives, budgets and targets
- Minimally reaching the budget set (turnover, direct/gross margin) with his/her management both in quantitative as well as qualitative terms
- The successful candidate will report directly to the group CEO
- 3 weeks of the month spent in Malta and one week in Cyprus
