Job Description
On behalf of our client, a Russian multibillion Group of companies, we are seeking to recruit for a Risk Manager to operate under the Group’s Properties Portfolio development. The current portfolio has an estimated value of over $5 billion.
This is a managerial position which requires very good experience with real estate risk management.
The ideal candidate should also have some good understanding about accounting and finance so as to be able to generate accurate reporting to the board of directors.

Planning, designing and implementing an overall risk management process for the organization’s properties division;
Risk assessment and evaluation, which involves analysing risks as well as identifying, describing and estimating the variety of risks affecting the business when investing in new properties; for example exchange rates, market vulnerabilities, economic downturns, overpayments at purchase, etc.
Establishing and quantifying the organisation's 'risk appetite', i.e. the level of risk they are prepared to accept when investing or selling property.
Risk reporting in an appropriate way for different audiences, for example, to the board of directors so they understand the most significant risks, to business heads to ensure they are aware of risks relevant to their parts of the business;
Requirements:
This is a high ranking position and our client will only consider candidates that have experience in performing the above duties. Experience in risk management is a must. Direct experience with real estate is a great advantage.
