Are you a talented Bookkeeper with a minimum of 1+ years of professional experience? If so, our client a diverse group of companies may have the right opportunity for you in Nicosia. Key Skills/Experience:
- Monitor debt levels and compliance with debt
- Issue Cheques
- Ensure that receivables are collected promptly
- Record cash receipts and make bank deposits
- Conduct a monthly reconciliation of every bank account
- Conduct periodic reconciliations of all accounts to ensure their accuracy
- Maintain the petty cash fund
- Assemble information for external auditors for the annual audit
- Maintain an orderly accounting filing system
- Maintain the chart of accounts
- Calculate variances from the budget and report significant issues to management
- Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements
Key Skills/Experience:
- Associate's degree in accounting or business administration
- 1-2 years of experience in bookkeeping
- Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
- Demonstrated professionalism in executing bookkeeping procedures
- High accountability in meeting deadlines and collaborating with the Financial Team
- Positive and constructive attitude
- Credible and confident communicator (written and verbal) at all levels
- Fluent command of the Greek and English language
- Good IT skills in Bookkeeping and ERP, WMS systems
