Our client, a leading IT company providing solutions in service providers within telecommunications industry, is looking for a System Network Engineer to join their team in Limassol.
DUTIES:
- The successful candidate who will join the team will support the current network infrastructure, troubleshooting, secure and fault-finding services for network problems to the company and client products. The selected candidate will have a unique opportunity to work on new technologies along with cloud and IoT services.
REQUIREMENTS:
- University degree in Computer Science or any related field
- Managing Information Security Server Infrastructure.
- Analysing and improving availability, efficiency, capacity, scalability, security and performance of Information Security systems.
- In-depth knowledge of and experience with major Internet routing protocols, BGP, OSPF.
- Must be comfortable working in a Linux/Unix environment.
- In depth experience on Cisco IOS and Cisco hardware platforms
- Monitoring of production server systems, including designing and implementing automated methods to monitor those systems.
- Network design and troubleshooting
- Deep knowledge of network hardware and packet forwarding architectures
- Excellent knowledge of server hardware troubleshooting.
- Software development/programming/scripting skills are highly desired
- Interact effectively and clearly, in writing and in person, either in group presentation situations or individual sessions.
- Previous experience with cloud services (Azure) or docker will be considered as an advantage.
Working Hours: Monday - Thursday: 08:00 - 17:00 & Friday: 08:00 - 14:00
Successful candidates will be offered a very competitive remuneration and benefits package which includes 13th salary, provident fund and medical insurance. (Juniors: 18k-22k Gross EUR salary per year; Seniors: 23k-36k Gross EUR salary per year)
