Our client is a leading international CySec Licensed Forex Trading Company with offices in a number of locations worldwide. They are looking to hire an exceptional data scientist with high business acumen to direct all efforts in developing acquisition and retention strategy through business intelligence tools and practices. This is a unique opportunity for an individual with the ability to lead, manage complex projects and translate data into business strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the Data and Business Intelligence team to proactively provide actionable insights from customer behavior, website analytics and data trends on marketing channels for business decision-making
- Manage multiple projects at a time in a fast-paced, intense, results-oriented environment
- Optimize all business aspects by identifying problems and opportunities, forming creative questions and relationships, and continuous use of A/B testing
- Drive the implementation and changes derived from the insights acquired
- Ensure functional tagging for website enhancement, aligned with business measurement objectives
- In depth analysis of the behavior of website users and clients' behavior in order optimize the Company's website including funnel and path optimization
- Direct projects for the automation of processes and procedures
- Initiate surveys and analyze third party data to reveal emerging trends to support recommendations
- Communicate and present insights effectively
Skill Set Required:
- BSc and/or MSc in Data Science and/or Statistics related field
- Ongoing relevant training and qualifications
- Strong business acumen/awareness
- Minimum 5 years' experience in analytics, online testing methodologies, and website usability
- Advanced user of MS Excel and Web Analytics measurement tools
- Experienced in using VBA, SQL, SAS, or SPSS, R and Tableau
- Experience with A/B test design and analysis
- Strong focus on teamwork and ability to manage people and relationships across multiple departments
- Ability to explain and communicate with business at different levels of project stage
- Previous experience within forex/e-commerce is desirable
- Previous experience in leading and managing a team is desirable
The working hours are Monday - Friday from 8am - 5pm
