On behalf of our client a  global technical solutions providerr for Invest firm firms  ,we are currently looking for a motivated and talented Application Support Engineer to join their new Limassol Cyprus office .  

Job Purpose: Support our clients by identifying and solving operational issues via phone, email and IM. Take responsibility for the planning, deployment and maintenance of client implementations of the product suite .

Specific Duties:

·         Support clients during European hours via email, phone and IM.

·         Provide excellent customer service by becoming an expert on  software offering, the MT4/MT5 platforms, and the Forex industry.

·         Triage complex incidents across multiple software and hardware layers.

·         Design, deploy and maintain client implementations from project planning to hands-on implementation.

·         Work with clients to gather technical prerequisites for new installations.

·         Design and deliver OMS solution to clients based on technical pre-requisites and business requirements.

·         Maintain and support client implementations from testing to go-live and beyond.

·         Work with senior Operations staff to enhance and implement disaster recovery and high availability contingencies.

·         Is responsible, along with all other management and staff, for creating a work environment conducive to exceptional productivity and high employee morale.

Required Skills:

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·         3-5 years of client support experience

·         High proficiency level using Microsoft Windows

·         Basic knowledge of computer networks.

·         Desire and ability to learn new skills and tools

Attractive Skills:

·         Experience administering the MetaTrader4 system

·         Experience working with retail FX bridge technology

·         Experience supporting clients in the financial services industry

·         Knowledge and understanding of financial market concepts

·         Experience working with FIX protocol

·         Experience with VMWare

·         Experience with scripting languages

·         Knowledge of SQL (PGSQL, MYSQL)
