On behalf of our client, a Cyprus Investment Firm which provides investment solutions for individuals and institutions, we are looking to recruit an experienced candidate for the position of the Head of Brokerage Department for their offices based in Nicosia.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Working as a flow trader – buying and selling financial products on behalf of clients.

·         Organizing delivery of brokerage (reception, transmission and execution of clients’ orders) services in accordance with requirements of international and Cyprus laws, CySEC reglaments, as well as with internal manuals and policies.

·         Monitoring of client’s accounts in daily mode.

·         Execution of trades in accordance with decisions of Investment Committee.

·         Monitoring stock market performance.

·         Supervising the process of data exchange with back-office.

·         Interpreting financial reports.

·         Generating short term investment ideas and providing it to management and clients in the form of recommendations.

·         Promoting company and its services to potential and existing clients.

·         Supervising the employees of the Brokerage Department.

PROFILE:

·         CySEC Advanced certificate is a must.

·         Degree in Finance, Economics or Business.

·         Understanding of financial markets’ working principles, excellent knowledge of modern stock markets.

·         Previous experience at similar position in investment company or investment bank.  Experience in securities trading is essential.

·         Proficiency with different trading platforms is advantage.

·         Perfect verbal and written communication skills in English are must, knowledge of other languages is desirable.

·         Eligibility to work in Cyprus.

·         Please note that we will not consider candidates with entire experience in Forex industry, as our business is essentially different.
