Key Responsibilities:
- Complete multiple client engagements; and manage to meet budgets and deadlines
- Develop audit programs under supervision of a manager and in less risky assignment on his/her own
- Participate in assigning staff and budgeting hours for internal audit, compliance or other engagements and tracks progress of assignments
- Review audit work of subordinates upon senior manager/manager instructions before submission to senior manager/manager for further review to ensure engagement compliance with the company’s quality control policies
- Work with other senior managers/managers on specific assignments/secondments/special projects
- Maintain good relations/ deploy strong communication skills with subordinates, business associates and authorities during execution of duties
- Provide on the job training to subordinates to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in completing internal audit or other engagements
- Able to perform staff or clients presentations or other presentations required by Management
- Able to attend client meetings with the line senior manager/manager and be able to follow agenda prepared by manager to fulfill client needs
- Be able to report Work in Progress at any time required by the line manager and his/her Director
Qualifications:
· Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CPA)
· Holder of the Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) certification will be considered as an advantage
· Minimum 3-4 years of experience in Audit (external or internal audit)
- Up-to-date technical knowledge in investment firms legislation, CySEC laws and MIFID and Pillar III legislation
· Previous experience in investment firm will be considered as an advantage
· Excellent command of the English and Greek language
· Organized – ability to deal with a variety of tasks
· Ability to work well under pressure within and outside a structured environment
