The company

X GLOBAL Markets Ltd is a Cyprus Investment Firm (CIF) registered with the Registrar of Companies in Nicosia under number HE 291958 and regulated by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) with license no. 171/12.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have the overall responsibility of the AML, Compliance and Risk Management function of the CIF. 

The successful candidate should be able to:

·       Ensure the efficient communication with the Commission on compliance and risk management related matters and the effective monitoring of applicable legislation, effectively incorporating changes, updates and/or amendments to circulars, directives, laws, rules and regulations in internal policies and procedures and other legal documentation;

·        Conduct Daily Client Acceptance which involves securing acceptable identification documents and PORs, conducting the world compliance check, performing the electronic verification and in general applying the Company’s risk based approach in KYC and applying the risk classification and the MIFID categorization;

·           Guide the Company throughout MIFIR and MIFID 2 and provide assistance in implementing the new regulatory provisions with the help of our Outsourced Consultants

·           Update the KYC information/documentation at least on an annual basis;

·           Conduct a know-your-transaction procedure for each and every deposit, withdrawal, internal transfer;

·           Conduct internal compliance audits  [with the help of our Outsourced Consultants] and ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures and structures;

·           Provide advice in relation to compliance matters and submit written reports to Management from time to time;

·           Provide daily support on compliance and risk management related matters;       

·           Provide assistance relevant to FATCA and CRS annual reporting;

·           Electronically submit notifications  and send letters to CYSEC, update CYSEC’s portal regarding changes in the organizational structure of the Company and other changes; 

·        Prepare the letters and/or emails (as applicable) to be submitted to the Commission regarding annual obligations (notification of shareholders, tied agents, annual subscription, submission of information on capital adequacy etc.), other notifications and requests for exemptions;

·           Prepare the Annual Compliance Report and MLCO Report along with the relevant Board Meeting Minutes [in coordination with our Outsourced Consultants];

·           Prepare the Monthly Money Laundering Prevention Statement;

·           Prepare the Annual Statement of Eligible Funds [in coordination with our Head of Back-office];

·           Prepare and submit the quarterly/monthly Capital Adequacy Report and all other relevant reports [in coordination with our Managing Director];

·        Assist in managing the relationship with the outsourced internal auditors for the timely, efficient, effective and accurate conduct of the year-end audits [in coordination with our Outsourced   Consultants];

·           Prepare the Annual Risk Management Report and the relevant Board Meeting Minutes;

·           Prepare the Annual Risk Disclosures (Pillar III Disclosures); and,

·           Provide employees’ training on compliance and/or risk management related matters [in coordination with our Outsourced Consultants].

Profile of the ideal candidate

·           Bachelor (Ba/BSc) in Finance and/or Economics and/or a related field and/or a Professional Qualification (CFA, ACA, ACCA, CPA)

·           At least two (2) years of experience in a similar position

·           Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail

·           Strong communication and interpersonal skills

·           Computer literate

·           Excellent knowledge of Greek and English languages

·           Holder of Cysec’s advanced Certification
