Our client is one of the leaders in telecommunication industry in Cyprus. The company is currently seeking for a successful candidate that will join their large team in the position of a Telecom Software Developer, based in Limassol.

Key objectives of the role and responsibilities:
- Work in a team that designs and develops in-house IPTV & telecommunications related software projects used by Network Engineering teams (e.g. network monitoring and provisioning systems);
- Collaborate with Network Engineers on the implementation of new features;
- Assess, study and implement integration with new telecommunication equipment & technologies;
- Use knowledge and abilities in furthering and promoting the best interest of the Company;
Required experience and main characteristics of our preferred candidate:
- University Degree in Engineering or in a related field;
- Excellent command of the spoken/written English language;
- Experience with Web software development framework(s);
- Knowledge of Perl 5.x, or knowledge of another programming language and willingness to learn Perl;
- Experience in working with relational databases and SQL;
- Knowledge of HTML / CSS / JavaScript;
- Basic understanding of networking principles and TCP/IP;
- User-level knowledge of Linux;
