Job Description
  • Preparation of accounts for Cypriot registered companies under IFRS
  • Preparation of quarterly and annual management accounts to strict deadlines in the required format
  • Preparation of management reports, analytical schedules, cost budgets
  • Preparation of complete audit files for presentation to auditors
  • Working on daily accounting tasks within the group of companies
  • Bookkeeping and month closure
  • Preparation of client and internal management reports
  • Banks Reconciliation.
  • Issue of invoices and receipts
  • Assisting in the processing of payments via Bank Accounts
  • Reconciling bank statements and bank accounts
  • Assist with internal and external audit.
  • Liaise with bank for all matters relating to bank accounts.
  • Responsible for preparation of payroll and ensures timely payment of Salary, Taxes and Social Contribution.

Remuneration & Benefits

  • Base Gross 12 month annual salary ranging between €21,600 – €24,000 based on previous experience
  • Additional remuneration / commission on meeting "accounting targets”
  •  Full medical insurance cover (after the 6 months of probation period)
  • 21 days annual leave + 1 day bonus
  •  Working hours: Monday – Friday 9.00am – 5.30pm with 1 hour lunch break
Required Qualifications
  • Certified Accountant or similar qualification status, with strong interpersonal skills in dealing with both clients and colleagues
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience gained from working in a financial services institution in Cyprus
  • Previous experience with International Tax Planning will be considered an advantage
  • Good knowledge of Tax laws and VAT
  • Able to organize and manage time efficiently and effectively
  • Excellent knowledge of Greek and English language, both oral and written
  • Excellent knowledge of at least one accounting software
  • Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Office packages
  • Experience with TIC, Social Insurance and VAT registration
  • Experience in Provisional tax compliance
  • Experience with VAT and VIES
