Our client is an international forex trading company with offices in Cyprus and globally and they are looking to hire a Compliance Officer to join their established office in Limassol.
Job Details:
Ongoing monitoring and oversight of regulatory development relevant to the activities of eToro EU in Cyprus
Assist with Reporting to CySec
Monitoring of the CySec reporting schedule for all activities of the Company (including Finance, Dealing and Customer facing (i.e. complaints))
Monitoring and implementing procedures, reports etc. periodically to identify hidden risks or non-conformity issues
Compliance monitoring (EU/UK): quarterly review of all company operations, in line with the regulatory guidelines AND audit findings
Supervision of Customer Facing Department for complaints handling and verification
Oversight of any marketing materials
Oversight of any verification-related training
Cooperation with Legal Department on maintaining the company's T&Cs up to date with the relevant legislation
Cooperation with the Product and Ops team to ensure the Compliance function has the necessary reports required for ongoing monitoring of the procedures already set in place.
Requirements:
Academic Degree - Finance or Legal desired
Previous job experience in a related field - minimum 1 year
Open to creative solutions & business innovation; a team player
Strong verbal skills
English - At mother tongue level; Greek - an advantage
Advanced CySEC license will be considered and advantage
