On behalf of our Client, a multi-national trading company, we are looking for an experienced individual for the position of the Head of the Accounting Department for their offices based in Limassol.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Preparation and submission of VAT, Intrastat and VIES.
- Ensure compliance with the law and company’s policies
- Set up and oversee the company’s finance IT system(Intelisoft)
- Drive the company’s financial planning
- Book-keeping
- Payroll and utilities
- Bank reconciliation
- Month and end-year process
- Cash forecasting
- Revenue and expenditure variance analysis
- Liaising with external auditors for the preparation of financial statements.
- Coordinate and complete annual audits
PROFILE:
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in the Accounting sector is a must (previous working experience in this Industry will be considered an advantage)
- BSc/BA in Accounting, Finance or relevant field; MSc/MBA/CPA is a plus.
- Proficient in the use of MS Office is a must.
- Fluent English is a must (both spoken and written).
