CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a rapidly expanding company that specializes in High Trafficked Websites, we are seeking to recruit a candidate for the position of Quality Assurance Tester to be based in Nicosia.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Testing new product releases.
- Reporting and prioritising bugs and issues raised with detail explanation of how to replicate them.
- Analysing requirements of new features and ensuring that the correct tests are run.
- Working with the product development team to ensure that errors and bugs are fixed.
- Ability to work in an existing QA team.
- Performing regression tests across browsers and platforms.
Key Skills/Experience:
- Basic understanding of HTML and CSS.
- Understanding of client-side scripting (JavaScript, JQuery).
- The ability to take a context driven approach to testing.
- An analytical mind and strategic problem solver.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- An understanding of software engineering processes.
- Organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Any commercial experience in a QA tester role would be a plus.
- Experience using JIRA would be a plus.
- Some knowledge of automate end-to-end testing techniques would be a plus.
