This Cypriot company in Nicosia is providing services to a French company. The company is looking for a French speaker as the training, the procedures and the collaboration with the vendors / clients and the colleagues from France and Romania will be in French. If the candidate has management experience it would be a plus as the company wants to grow in Cyprus so there might be an opportunity to become a Head of Accountant of the Cyprus office.
Responsibilities:
Holding the accounting for a portfolio companies - international companies
Validation of payments and invoices, billing
Ccontrol of accounts (expenses, third parties, cash), internal reconciliations, service statements provider, calculation of provisions, annual balance sheet, monthly balance
Realization of VAT and tax declarations
Realization of the annual reports as well as the annual legal, balance sheet situation
Realization of financial reports and report directly to general management
Requirements:
At least a relevant Bachelor degree
Proven experience in accounting (minimum 5 years of experience in the accounting field)
Experience in accounting and financial services different companies (financial laws, employment contracts, salary calculation, declarations, annual balance sheet, monthly balance)
Management skills (the candidate will need to develop a team/department); have managed small teams or have been involved in development projects, transfers of activities, etc.
Direct reporting experience to senior management
Experience in Cyprus accounting
Experience in French accounting and French financial legislation - can be a plus/advantage
Ability to communicate with clients from France and Cyprus
Experience in working with different accounting tools (and knowledge of SAP can be a benefit)
Flexibility and autonomy of decision
Availability for training in France and Romania for 1-2 months
Good level of French language (minimum B2 level); able to have a conversation
Good level of Greek language (minimum B2 level); able to have a conversation
