Responsibilities:
- Responsible for implementing and maintaining software applications in Java using Spring Framework and SQL,
- Designing, creating and implementing back-end development,
- Document technical solutions and designs in compliance with software architecture,
- Provide post-development support,
- Support and train users with existing systems.
Requirements:
- 2+ year(s) of software programming experience, particularly in Java Spring/Hibernate, JavaScript - Ajax,
- Bachelor's Degree (from a recognized institution with minimum grade 2:1 or equivalent) in Computer Science/Software Engineering, MSc/MEng is considered a plus,
Mandatory:
· Excellent knowledge of the SQL, JavaScript and Java programming languages.
· Good knowledge of the Model-View-Controller (MVC) architecture pattern.
· Good knowledge of HTML and CSS.
· Problem solving, communication, organizational and presentation skills.
Advantages:
· Any qualification related to network-programming should be an advantage.
· knowledge of the frameworks Spring and Hibernate (preferable but not required)
· Previous work on large projects, preferably web applications and written in Java.
· Knowledge of software architecture patterns, software architecture development methodologies and software architecture should be an advantage.
· Knowledge of the Unified Modelling Language (UML) should be an advantage.
