Our client a rapid-growing online affiliate marketing firm looking to hire a passionate Creative Content Writer for its online media division. The successful candidate should have an innate sense of writing with impeccable grammar and spelling. The ability to communicate ideas in a user-friendly format is essential. Native English speaking is a must.
What you will do:
- Work with marketing team and developers to create landing pages
- Produce engaging articles daily for company websites, across a range of industries
- Write articles with high level marketing in mind
- Write clear, compelling and unique content for all digital channels
- Develop and present new ideas for content
- Follow and analyze industry trends
- Demonstrate analytically why creative ideas are sound
- Liaise with social media team for management of content
- Proofread final draft of web pages
- Edit web pages for on-screen readability
- Assure all content is compliant with internal regulation and approved prior to publishing
Requirements:
- 2+ years experience in a similar writing position, ideally with affiliate marketing
- Relevant degree in English, Marketing, and Communications etc. would be advantageous, but not essential.
- Experience in sourcing and managing content development
- An understanding of content marketing theory and advertising strategies
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Understand social media platforms and their participants
- Understand the concept of a marketing funnel and the ability to produce creatives through the entire process
- Highly motivated
- Must have a keen eye for detail (punctuation, spelling, grammar etc)
- Ability to meet tight deadlines whilst meeting high-quality standards
- Ability to grasp new concepts quickly and to keep up with industry developments and trends
- Develop original content and creatives
- A clear understanding of Facebook’s advertising policy
- Copywriting skills would be considered a huge advantage
- Experience with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
- Photoshop skills would be considered an advantage
- Organization and the ability to multi task is a must
- An understanding of native ads and banner ads would be considered an advantage
