Limassol
CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an International, licensed Investment Firm with regional headquarters in Cyprus, we are seeking to recruit a highly capable and technically strong Front-End Developer to join their expanding team of professionals based in Limassol.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Implementing a variety of software projects across the business from trading systems to other internal platforms.
- Use modern software tools.
- Engage in regular departmental meetings with the CTO and other developers.
- Working in an agile environment with a variety of practices (scrum sprint, pairing, etc.).
- Building, testing, and deployment of software projects from libraries to full packages.
- Code reviews and refactoring for efficiency.
Key Skills/Experience:
- Solid all-round development experience with rich interactive websites.
- Strong knowledge of web software architecture and web fundamental design skills e.g. HTML, CSS, JS, etc.
- Any exposure to API integration, real time systems, and WebSockets.
- Data streaming using a variety of technologies, message queues, and protocols.
- Making technical designs, test harnesses, and code reviews.
- Proactive, and hard working.
- Any financial markets sector experience is useful but not required.
- Good mathematical ability.
- Robust personality and strong teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage pressure and deadlines, a flexible, amicable personality.
- Preferable studies or experience from any Engineering discipline.
- Fluency in English is mandatory.
- Solid understanding of JavaScript and supporting libraries (e.g. ReactJS, AngularJS, jQuery, etc.).
- Hands-on experience in writing cross-browser compliant HTML & CSS.
