CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an International Information Technology Solutions Provider with offices in the heart of Limassol, we are seeking to recruit an experienced and skilled Python Software Developer to join their expanding team of professionals.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Engaged in the company's software design and development activities, working with other team members as well as external partners for delivering various products/services/projects, with the opportunity to lead the development in certain projects.
- Developing Code for the company’s Products and Services.
- Contribution to other software engineering tasks, such as In-Depth Analysis, Specifications, Design (Requirements, Functional & Technical Specifications) and Development of Innovative.
- Technological and Business Solutions.
- Contribution to project planning including research and development.
- Collaboration with external teams (clients, partners, collaborators).
Key Skills/Experience:
- Educated to degree level in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Informatics or similar.
- 3+ years proven work experience as a back-end developer in a professional setting.
- Strong knowledge of Python programming and Django Rest Framework.
- Knowledge of and experience in relational and of non-relational databases.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Greek.
- Ability to operate comfortably in both the business and technical arenas.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as JavaScript would be considered an advantage.
- Experience with SOA and RESTful web service design, implementation and maintenance would be considered an advantage.
- Experience with big data technologies (e.g. Spark, Kafka, Hadoop, Elasticsearch) would be considered an advantage.
- Past collaborations within R&D engineering teams would be considered an advantage.
- Contribution in open-source projects would be considered an advantage.
